Twiceme Technology unveiled its Safety Management Portal (SMP) at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, introducing a tool to digitize safety workflows on construction sites.
The SMP offers safety managers a centralized, digital platform to oversee critical safety tasks, from verifying worker certifications to monitoring the condition and lifespan of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Designed for desktop and tablet use, the SMP consolidates safety management into a secure dashboard. This system provides an overview of jobsite safety, tracking PPE inventory, guided inspection records and certification statuses.
“There are many moving parts on a construction site or an industrial facility, and ensuring employee and equipment safety is one of the most critical components,” Christian Connolly, the CEO of Twiceme Technology said.
“Yet, it is one of the most challenging factors to manage as safety managers must check certifications, equipment records and more, individually, often through physical paper documents. The Safety Management Portal brings significant value to safety managers by helping to digitally transform what was previously a cumbersome process, ensuring all workers are safe and compliant on a jobsite through a single digital dashboard.”
By integrating Twiceme's near-field communication hardware into PPE, the portal enables workers to store and update certifications within their equipment. Safety managers can scan these enhanced PPE items to quickly retrieve certification details and training histories, boosting compliance and efficiency. Additionally, the SMP simplifies PPE inspections by guiding workers through detailed routines and tracking equipment health. A free beta trial of the SMP is now available, with subscriptions required post-trial.
