Skid Steer Cement Mixer Attachments From Eterra Offering New Volumes

2016 has been a big year for the Eterra Cement Mixers and "Eterra Attachments, LLC of Bellingham, Washington is proud to announce the availability of the BMX-600, our newest cement mixing attachment. Born out of our customers' need to have an on-site small batch mixer that was larger than the rest, it follows an already successful line of BMX mixers that include the BMX-100 for mini skid steers, the BMX-250, and the BMX-450 for full-size skid steer loaders. The BMX-600 weighs 1390 lbs when empty and 4565 lbs when full; a demonstration of its amazing capacity. A full 21 cubic feet or 158 gallons can be mixed at one time in this skid steer cement mixer. When you are done mixing, you have the choice of the mechanical side chute, the electric center chute with hose or the front dump method to distribute your finished product. As a new force in the marketplace, this attachment is for those who want to get the job done". Robert Leib, President of Eterra Attachments, LLC This skid steer mounted scooping style mixer is designed to be a multipurpose attachment with both remote and manual capabilities in mind. For operators who appreciate working from their seats, the hopper is fitted the full cutting edge found on standard bucket attachments to facilitate the scooping of dry materials directly from the worksite. Also from the seat, the hydraulically operated center chute can quickly dispense the contents of the hopper, or use the side chute for a more controlled pour. Another option is to use the 5-foot-long flexible hose attachment for a hands-on control over the pour. The reversible drive system connected to the hydraulics conveniently allows an operator to mix and dispense simultaneously. Both models also feature an enclosed chain drive gear reduction system with an integrated mower. Dry materials can be manually added via the bag cutter directly on the system for those working with specific cement ratios. Our suggestion is to mix 9 cubic feet (1/3 of a yard). This amount is the optimal amount for our machines as it leaves enough space above the paddles to avoid spillage during transport. Our guidelines are 1-part water, 2-parts cement, and 3-parts sand/gravel by volume. In a product demonstration, the BMX-250 at 2/3 full, yielded 31 square feet of cement in 2x4 forms. The biggest selling feature of the BMX models is that it doubles as a steel auger/paddle combination. This attachment is suitable to mix virtually any dry material, and the center chute can double as a sand bag filler. Other features include: A galvanized side chute and top grate. The spring assisted side gate is a locking mechanism that aids in the actuation. Sprocket and chain drive system is completely enclosed and sealed to protect it from damage. Cleaning is easy with the easy lifting grate. Precision laser cut parts, CNC forming, and robotic welding creates a high quality finished product. Pad mounting holes for excavators to connect to so this becomes a dual purpose product with just a few turns of a wrench.
