ShearForce Equipment has joined ShearCore’s dealer network as the exclusive distributor of Fortress products in Canada, covering territories from Alberta to Nova Scotia.
The partnership expands ShearCore’s presence in the Canadian market, making its demolition and scrap recycling attachments more widely available to contractors and recyclers.
ShearForce Equipment, based in Canada, specializes in providing demolition and scrap recycling attachments.
The company will now distribute Fortress shears and processors, which are manufactured by ShearCore in Superior, Wisconsin.
The Fortress line is recognized for its durability, power, and engineering in the demolition and scrap processing industries.
ShearCore Expands in Canada
“ShearForce Equipment has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the industry, and we are thrilled to welcome them as our exclusive dealer in Canada,” Rick Currie, vice president sales at ShearCore, said.
“With their expertise, extensive reach and commitment to customer service, we are confident that this partnership will only enhance our ability to support our Canadian customers.”
ShearCore is a division of Exodus Global, a U.S.-based, family-owned manufacturer specializing in heavy equipment attachments.
The company produces Fortress shears and processors at its manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, supplying equipment for demolition and scrap processing operations across North America.
ShearForce Equipment Joins ShearCore’s Dealer Network
ShearForce Equipment has previously worked with Exodus Global, initially distributing Rockwheel drum cutters. The expansion into the Fortress product line builds on that relationship.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Exodus, ShearCore and BladeCore teams,” Andrew Young, national director sales at ShearForce, said.
“Our relationship started in 2023 with selling their Rockwheel drum cutters, and after experiencing their customer service and commitment to constant improvement, it was hard to pass up the opportunity to sell their Fortress line. We’ve experienced their commitment to their customers firsthand, and it’s been top-notch all the way. We’re looking forward to a long and successful relationship, servicing our mutual customers with their fantastic products,” he added.
Industry Impact
The partnership is expected to streamline access to heavy-duty shears and processors for demolition contractors and scrap recyclers in Canada.
With ShearForce Equipment’s established distribution network, Fortress products will now be more accessible to Canadian customers.
