The 870: Long reach for heavy-duty teardown
At 228,000 lb (103,500 kg) with a 118-ft (36.0 m) boom, the 870 R-HDD is one of the industry’s largest material handlers. The 870 gives operators the reach and lift capacity to bring down 10-story structures and has interchangeable attachments to quickly dismantle buildings, sort the debris, and load trucks with a single machine. The elevating Maxcab with standard bulletproof glass tilts back up to 30° to provide straight lines of sight with minimal fatigue. Plus, telescoping undercarriages hydraulically expand the 870’s footprint from the compact travel position to a wide stance for maximum stability.
Designed for more congested jobsites, the 830 R-HDD is a 96,780 lb (43,900 kg) machine with 62'4" (19 m) of reach. With its crawler tracks retracted for transport, the machine can drive onto a standard flat deck trailer for transport without waivers. It also features the Vario Tool system that enables switching from a scrap shears to any standard lifting attachment in just two minutes without the operator leaving their cab. The complete uptime solution
On large projects, R-HDD demolition models are often complemented by smaller SENNEBOGEN units for sorting, picking, sweeping, feeding, and loading. Highly maneuverable, with low operating costs, these machines feature HydroClean 3-micron oil filtration, automatic lubrication, natural flow-through cooling plus a high-capacity reversing fan to optimize uptime in harsh environments.
