Mack Trucks has upgraded its Mack MD Series with a 23,000-pound rear axle and a 325-horsepower Cummins B6.7 engine, boosting durability, payload capacity and performance for vocational applications.
Designed for refuse packers, water trucks and heavy-duty haulers, the stronger rear axle supports increased loads, while the higher-horsepower engine improves towing and efficiency on hilly routes.
The Mack MD6 (gross vehicle weight rating 25,995 pounds) and MD7 (gross vehicle weight rating 33,000 pounds) remain federal excise tax-exempt and available without a commercial driver’s license for nonhazardous payloads.
The MD Series features a redesigned cab, premium interior, enhanced safety features and industry-standard cab-to-axle dimensions for easier body installations.
With advanced technology and rugged construction, Mack continues delivering versatile, high-performance solutions for vocational trucking.
