TII KAMAG has introduced a new iteration of its efficient swap body transporter, the KAMAG PrecisionMover (KAMAG PM), featuring a hot-dip galvanized design. This upgrade involves galvanizing the lifting table, frame and cab mounting system, enhancing the vehicle's resistance to corrosion and extending its service life.
The introduction of hot-dip galvanized components, including the lifting table, vehicle frame and cabin suspension system, represents a significant enhancement to the KAMAG PM. Galvanization brings about improved durability and corrosion resistance, crucial for ensuring the vehicle's robustness. Galvanized surfaces exhibit effective and reliable resistance to rust and possess self-healing properties in the event of minor damage. They remain resilient under varying temperatures without compromising their protective qualities, enabling the KAMAG PM to operate seamlessly even in extreme weather conditions and under increased mechanical stress.
By incorporating galvanized components, TII KAMAG not only prolongs the service life of the KAMAG PM but also contributes to economic efficiency and environmental compatibility. Galvanised parts necessitate less maintenance and are recyclable, making them a sustainable choice.
“The hot-dip galvanized KAMAG PM is also an example of our commitment to implementing environmentally-friendly solutions. Galvanizing is considered a resource-saving corrosion protection process that helps reduce the ecological footprint. We are committed to sustainability in the transport industry whereby the special requirements and challenges of our customers are always at the forefront,” emphasized Jürgen Haupt, head of sales logistics at TII KAMAG.
