The Faymonville Group, a seventh-generation family-owned leader in heavy transport vehicle manufacturing, plans to open a facility in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Known for its comprehensive transport solutions, the company produces semi-trailers, low-loaders, modular vehicles and self-propelled trailers, supporting loads from 16.5 to 27,500 U.S. tons. With three major brands — MAX Trailer, Faymonville and Cometto — the Faymonville Group serves 125 countries worldwide, reaching revenues of approximately $500 million in 2023.
The Faymonville Group’s dedicated “Faymily” team of 1,400 employees operates across Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Italy, producing 3,000 vehicles annually.
The company’s expansion into the U.S. reflects its commitment to providing tailored, practical solutions to this growing market. Since delivering its first vehicle to the U.S. in 2016, Faymonville has found the market's solution-oriented and straightforward approach ideal for growth.
The new Little Rock facility marks the company’s first American production site
Initially, components will be manufactured in Little Rock, with full in-house production anticipated by early 2026. The facility will also enhance Cometto-branded vehicle support with local service and spare parts, and once fully operational, vehicles produced will bear the "Made in America" label.
Faymonville was first introduced to Arkansas through a relationship with Hale Trailer, North America’s largest independent trailer dealership. This led to visits hosted by the Little Rock Regional Chamber and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, and meetings with Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other state leaders. Following site assessments over the summer, Faymonville selected Little Rock for its new U.S. headquarters in late September.
The new location will offer diverse career opportunities in steel construction, surface treatment, final assembly and various office roles.
“We don't just supply special vehicles, we provide comprehensive transport solutions,” Alexander Fickers, CEO of the Faymonville Group said.
"We proudly delivered our first vehicle to the U.S. in 2016. What we particularly value about the U.S. market is its enormous potential, its practical, solution-driven mindset and the much simpler administration compared to Europe."
"Our new location offers exciting career opportunities for driven and passionate specialist in steel construction, surface treatment, final assembly, as well as various office roles -– all within a company culture that values pragmatism and straightforward communication,” Lisa Faymonville, human resources manager for Faymonville Group said.
