Engineered Rigging has enhanced its Equipment Service Center in Russellville, Arkansas, to provide dynamic testing and certification for hydraulic cylinders, pumps and other high-pressure hydraulic equipment.
The upgraded capabilities allow equipment owners to send their machinery to the facility for comprehensive testing and servicing by Engineered Rigging’s skilled technicians, trained in Holmatro’s dynamic testing protocols.
“Dynamic testing is a game changer for preventive maintenance. It optimizes equipment safety and performance and helps extend the life of your high-pressure equipment,” Mike Beres, vice president of Engineered Rigging said.
Dynamic testing simulates maximum load conditions (105% of capacity) in a controlled environment, allowing for the detection of potential issues, such as internal scratches or damage, that could lead to equipment failure.
Unlike static testing, which evaluates cylinders at set pressure levels, dynamic testing pressurizes the entire cylinder stroke for a more thorough evaluation.
Engineered Rigging’s testing process includes:
After passing testing, the equipment is certified with a Safety & Performance Tested Certificate, which clients can add to their maintenance records.
“Safety is a cornerstone of our company, and we are thrilled to offer our clients an affordable and convenient way to optimize their preventive maintenance program,” Christopher Cox, PE, president of Engineered Rigging said.
The upgraded facility also conducts hydraulic gantry load tests and services a wide range of hydraulic systems, including gantries, skidding systems and jacking systems.
The company will host live demonstrations of its digital testing capabilities during its Equipment Showcase event from May 6-8, 2025.
