Continental has named Rob Schroeder, senior manager of operations, marketing and analytics, as the new head of region for the United States and Canada. Starting April 1, 2024, Schroeder will assume oversight of the material handling, port, earthmoving and agriculture tire segments in these key markets.
As part of Continental since 2013, Schroeder has been deeply involved in the truck tire and commercial specialty tires sectors. His appointment as head of region for the United States and Canada in commercial specialty tires follows the departure of Andrew Davis. Schroeder will report directly to Constantin Batsch, who leads global sales and operations for specialty tires worldwide.
“Rob has been an integral part of Continental for more than ten years, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our company’s values and objectives. He exemplifies the qualities, strategic thinking, and vision necessary to lead our sales efforts within the region,” said Constantin Batsch, head of global sales and operations specialty tires.
Continental, founded in 1871, develops technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility solutions. With a global presence across 56 countries and markets, the company generated preliminary sales of €41.4 billion in 2023 and employs approximately 200,000 people.
