Bobcat Launches Heavy-Duty Loaders and Excavators
Bobcat is expanding its presence in the heavy construction equipment market with the launch of four new large wheel loaders and two new large excavators. The machines will be available at select North American dealerships starting mid-Q2 2025.
The newly introduced L205, L235, L255 and L285 wheel loaders are built for load-and-carry tasks across construction, agriculture and industrial jobs. They offer bucket capacities from 2.5 to 3.5 cubic yards and feature customizable power and transmission modes to suit various applications. All models are equipped with a Tier 4 turbocharged engine, spacious cab and enhanced operator controls.
Joining Bobcat’s excavator lineup are the E220 and E245, designed for large-scale projects such as infrastructure and site development. With digging depths of over 21 feet and a bucket digging force of 35,464 lbf, the machines are built for power and precision. Both models run on Tier 4 engines without the need for a DPF, reducing maintenance downtime.
Key features of the new excavators include:
- Steel tracks
- Four power modes and Smart Power Control
- Side- and rear-view cameras
- Hydraulic quick coupler piping
- Heated, air-suspension seat
All six models are backed by Bobcat’s 3-year/5,000-hour full coverage warranty and supported by its dealer network.
