Bobcat Company has unveiled a $3.26 million renovation at its Buford, Georgia location. This facility, central to Bobcat’s North American material handling operations, has been revamped to enhance productivity and foster collaboration.
The extensive upgrade modernizes conference rooms, break rooms, and office spaces, aligning the facility’s look and feel with other Bobcat locations. The renovation also includes open seating areas and updated exterior signage to promote teamwork and innovation.
“Investing in our facilities and operations to create collaborative, inspiring workplaces is one of many ways that Bobcat supports our employees,” said Mike Ballweber, president, Doosan Bobcat North America. “Fostering our company's success alongside the dedicated team in Buford is a priority for us. We are thrilled to provide them with a work environment that encourages collaboration and drives innovation.”
The Buford facility, spanning 200,000 square feet, houses a cutting-edge parts operation and a diverse material handling product line, including forklifts with capacities from 3,000 to 55,000 pounds. The location has experienced a 40% growth in staff over the past year, reflecting Bobcat’s expanding presence in the material handling industry.
“The growth of the Bobcat brand into the material handling industry allows us to provide even more solutions to help our customers accomplish more,” said Jarrod Steck, Bobcat vice president of material handling products. “Our Buford team has grown by 40% in the last year and is still growing. Bobcat’s investment in both people and facility illustrate our level of commitment to growing Bobcat’s presence in this important market.”
Shultz + Associates Architects and Omega Construction led the design and construction of the renovation. Bobcat continues to expand its footprint both in the U.S. and globally, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.
