Martin Auction

Martin Auction is a family-owned business, founded in 1947 by Warren Martin, an elected member of the Illinois State Auctioneer Association Hall of Fame. Warren was joined in 1966 by son Larry Martin and in 1973 by son-in-law Stan Irvin. Representing the third generation, Lucy (Martin) Nord has been involved in the family business since her childhood. In 1990 her husband,Rob Nord, attended Missouri Auction School and began his career in the auction business. In 2007, Lucy and Rob built a new facility for Martin Auction as Larry retired and passed the gavel. The next generation soon followed as Evelyn Nord graduated from Missouri Auction School in 2008 and then Echo Nord graduated in 2011. Five years later, in June 2016, Echo Nord became a full-fledged member of the Martin Auction team. We are proud and excited to offer our customers the experience and knowledge that comes from four generations in the auction industry.
