JCB has expanded its X Series range of tracked excavators by unveiling its most powerful model yet — the 370X. This heavy-duty machine is designed to deliver unmatched productivity, durability and efficiency in the 35–40-ton category.
Key features of the 370X include a 322 hp Cummins diesel engine, JCB’s new UX interface with a 10-inch touchscreen display and increased hydraulic pressure for enhanced digging performance. Notably, the 370X moves 18 tons more material per gallon of fuel than competitor models, making it a leader in fuel efficiency. Additionally, extended service intervals reduce overall costs for owners.
“With the introduction of the 370X, JCB takes yet another step forward this year in our goal of providing a comprehensive range of heavy equipment solutions for the construction industry,” Sam Wagstaff, products manager, JCB North America, said.
“At this end of the excavator market, contractors know they need strong, powerful machines with the latest technology to get the big jobs done on time and on budget,” Wagstaff, said
“The JCB 370X excels in these attributes while lowering total cost of ownership and providing operators with a cab that keeps them comfortable and productive over the course of long days and challenging applications.”
“The 370X is just the latest in a series of new machines and markets JCB has entered this year, including the introduction of two compaction machines and the T65D Telescopic Boom Lift,” Wagstaff, said.
The 370X boasts a Cummins L9 diesel engine, delivering 322 horsepower at a low 1,700 rpm, enhancing fuel economy and reducing noise. Increased hydraulic pressures of up to 5,511 psi provide greater digging power, while a redesigned dig-end structure offers added durability.
The 370X is available with various boom and arm configurations, along with new heavy-duty buckets and breakers. Optional features include advanced LED lighting, a 360-degree camera system and premium seating.
